In the earlier posts some people mentioned that they noticed some women changing after the operation and how it altered the woman's persona. Some remarked that they treated them as new "toys" or an accessory. I think you're very much onto something when you mention a pain from the past or flaw in their mind. It's a compensation thing. But that is also not the case for every woman. And yes. boobs are great!!! Interesting topic, and the interview answered some questions that were very interspective.
I really have no backround with women and breast augmentation, but did know one lady from my past that had it done. Seemed as though the new "headlights" took over her persona, and she flaunted them constantly. Indeed, they caused a great deal of attention. To be direct and to the point, I often wondered if this was to cover some psychological flaw, or pain from the past.
I do not think that this case was the norm, or that breast augmentation is wrong. I have talked to several women who would like to get work done on parts other than their boobs but just can't bear the thought of having their faces cut open.

The process to get the implants in there ain't pretty that's for sure. But for many the gory details are a small price to pay to feel better in the long run.

Chicago style voting at it's best if you can vote twice. But it is not a judgment; the fact that she said that it made her feel better is key to why she did it. Maybe some people see that as vain, but it is awful walking around, feeling unattractive. So more power to her.

That picture of the silicone--like I said: case by case. She really brought some great things to this series.

The big nose and no chin thing is BAD. Really I can't fault her for that.

The woman who got a boob job, please send all pictures you have of her to my email address. LOL!

I think it really is a case by case thing. You can't make sweeping judgements on all cosmetic surgery candidates.

As for fantasy, yes there is no chance too be hurt. There is great comfort in only exploring this and limiting yourself to the risks present in the real world. However we as humans do need real contact once and a while. I think we'd go crazy otherwise.

As far as the "right girl" goes, you will have to stay tuned.

Thomas - Good man for thinking on your feet. And there are many implications to your statement to the guy that are brilliant. If they are altered surgically or not, they are not imaginary.

Nursemyra - Ah, the land of OZ. Why continue searching when the perfect woman already visits my blog. :-)

Meleah - There is something about that woman in the interview that is absolutely type='text'>The woman you interviewed was great and she walked...

The woman you interviewed was great and she walked us through what she went through. I'm glad you were able to interview her.

I voted "case by case" because I've met people who had cosmetic or corrective surgeries and one woman got a nose job and a chin implant because she was tired of being just a BIG NOSE and chinless - that's all people saw and she just brought out who she felt she was. She still has a pronounced nose, but now it's interesting, not a BIG NOSE.

Another woman got a boob job. Personally, I thought she didn't need one but relatively flat chests don't bother me! She was/is also very attractive. But she went to i think a D cup and suddenly her she had a stockpile of halter tops. Huh.

She looked incredible - I mean she was already very attractive but then she got totally buff (abs and everything) plus these breasts! I would have been happier for her if I had sensed she was happy but more seemed to be going on.

That's why I think it's case by case. I think if in some way the surgery is a loving thing for yourself, then the surgery will be a good thing.

Your thoughts on people needing feedback and some form of external validation - yeah, I think we need to have some form of comparison. It makes things a bit rough as there is always someone "better" as well as "worse."

I agree that reality is better than fantasy but for some, perhaps fantasy is "no fuss, no muss, no feelings, no pain."

Arrrggh on your cliffhangers!! And are you telling us you are looking for the Right Girl? Or "right for now?" hehehee!
