It's sad, because mom sounds so frustrated and there's really no way of knowing if Billy has real problems that are making him miserable or if his mom just has unreasonable expectations.  At best I suppose mom could just figure out how to accept who he is. At worst he actually does have whatever problems she's accusing him of &amp; he'll either accept her help or   find a way to cope on his own.  &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I often wonder about normalcy - is there really is such a thing? Some family members are, how should I say, "embarrassed" when a close family member develops a mental disorder or goes through depressive episodes.
