Buy.com Sucks!


I had the misfortune of losing my trusty bluetooth headset recently and it was a dandy of a unit, a Plantronics Voyager 520. It was highly rated in all the tech magazines and I raved about it to anyone I could. So you can imagine my sadness when I was unable to find it and simply couldn't afford to buy a new one. I'm on a budget as money is tight these days. So, why not try and find an affordable headset that may be almost as good as my old one and call it a day? Well, that's what I thought I did at Buy.com.

They had all sorts of great deals and prices way below many of the other online merchants. I settled on a NEW (repeat NEW) Motorola H695 which was small, had the whole wind/noise canceling thing going on so people could hear me outside and it would only set me back twenty dollars. And did I mention that Buy.com sated it was N-E-W? Looks like I had myself a bargain. But noooooo!

My bluetooth headset came today with scratches all over it and the silver paint chipped off in places. Um......what the fuck guys!?!?! Seriously!!?! This is "new?" I threw it back into the packaging and just sent the damn thing back. Not only was it NOT "new," it was shipped to me from Buy.com's RETURNS department!!! They turned around and shipped me something someone else just RETURNED!!!

Now I'm fighting Irish mad and rightfully so because St.Patrick's day is tomorrow!!

I wanted to speak to someone, so I had customer service call me where I let them (the cocksuckers at Buy.com) have it. I was given a five dollar gift certificate on my next purchase. But I don't think I'll be buying anything from these guys (cocksuckers, all) in the near future. Things like this just....FUCKING PISS ME OFF!!! Don't lie to me!!
