I've been booked to play a business man on the NBC hospital drama "Mercy."
I'm quite excited by this and especially by how I got the job. One good friend I networked with (and has a bit of pull) saw me on "White Collar," thought I looked great in a suit and hounded the casting agent to bring me on for a shoot on Monday. He said he didn't care how awful my file picture looked on their system, they had to bring me on. So while I didn't even know they were looking for background actors for that particular show, out of the blue I got a call for it.

But it gets better, I was also called later that day to appear on the legal drama, "The Good Wife," which I had to turn down because I said yes to Mercy. But I now know who is in charge for that and will politely hound her to get on that show one way or another. So lets hope that pans out.
Anyway, that's all the acting news I have for now.
Off to catch the Oscars.
Have a great week everyone.
