40 Hours

Well it may not be a starring role but I am very close to hammering down a 40 hour work week as a background actor on Nurse Jackie. Who would have thought that I'd get steady work doing this kind of stuff? I consider it a blessing.

It hasn't been easy. I usually wake up at 4 AM, drive down to a friends place who lives near the train station and park in his driveway. Saves me money on parking. From there I walk to the station and hop on the train. I have been doing this for most of the week and it burns you out. But you know what? It's worth it.

When some of the crew heard that I was commuting from Connecticut down to New York, and that I have had only 2 hours worth of sleep in 48 hours, many offered me a place to sleep for times when we wrap shooting late and begin shooting early the next day. I now have some crash pads. Thanks guys.

That's it for now. I continue to march toward my dream. I urge you all to do the same no matter what. Looks like they are calling me to shoot another scene. By the way, I'm not just an orderly now, they are using me in other roles too. I'm a man of many faces.

Later everybody.
