i guess i`m lucky, but the price is that one is criticised from some for being "irresponsible".....but fuck it, if responsible means stressed, fat and cranky all the time then so be it.
The question is when do I not have one of those days ...

Just yesterday I was seeing some pictures of a ghost town and was wondering what it would be like to find a ghost town and move there and live wild. I guess I will miss my broadband too much to try it :)

Dr.A- One persons irresponsibility is another persons responsibility. They are interchangeable. And while some things are pretty cut and dry in terms of irresponsibility others are grey areas. I'd say none of these fall into the irresponsible category in my opinion.
Leigh - that's the thing, too many of these days in a row really wear on you. At least it does in my case. I don't like this.
beingammey - A move is in your future? That is a Calgone moment if there ever was one. But once you're settled in your new home, I'm sure it will be all worth it. But moves suck. It's why I have dragged my feet on moving.
Fitness Diva - If you find this place let me know and if I find it I'll let you know. Bills? Don't get me started on those. LOL! They run my life. This is not acceptable to me.
Meleah - Where you went on vacation looks like a good place to start.
SJ - I have no quarrel with running away BUT ONLY if I have access to broadband and mobile phone service. To be without is simply not living.
AHB - You did run off to a far away place so you have one up on me and others.
Manager Mom - Maine! Yes that's a nice getaway. An acquaintance of mine is actually heading there for the weekend also. Enjoy that trip!

Nurse - I would love to but ONLY if the holiday includes the chance to feel your embrace. Otherwise it's simply just another forgettable trip. ;-)
Marsha - That's the thing, I need my toys. If I can't have that then it's not worth it. I don't want to relive an episode of survivor over here.

I dunno - I think you have a responsibility to give yourself some down time. Your responsible self suffers without a break now & again.

I'm sorry you're having one of those days, though.
Not so much these days but I used to think about just driving and not worrying about where I would end up. It wasn't so much escaping but being the type of person to just get up and GO and no thinking and planning, just DOING.
I'm not that person though. But I am learning to do more and plan less!
