Hope all of my fellow Americans are having a wonderful 4th of July celebration. To those of you overseas, here's a chance to have a few beers and party even if you hate us.
There have been some fireworks in my own life this past week but I can't really share them. Why? Because I don't want to stir up any controversy and I have great respect for the parties involved, despite the misunderstanding.
The trip to Germany is off. Not going to happen.
I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and I have nothing to wear. :-P

I'm stuck at work but I'm getting paid extra for it. That's nice.
I've been cranky due to a TV satellite malfunctioning in outer space. Since I'm in the TV broadcasting industry this has given me a lot of extra headaches. There were a lot of TV stations using that piece of space junk.
I'm strongly considering a ticket purchase for a WWE event up in Springfield, Mass. Those of you who read this blog know what a fan I am of the "sport" even though it's staged. I simply don't care. I'd be going alone as no one wants to go with me. Screw them all!
Is anyone having any cookouts? Parties? Share your stories since I won't be at any today.

From the windows of where I work I can see the fireworks going off here in Stamford, Long Island and Manhattan. So glad I work right on the ocean.
