Return

Stop the fucking clock!! I'm ready........now!
The skies are gray, threatening rain. It's cool outside but the hint of spring is gently pushing it's way into the air.
I'm sitting in front of my computer....on the screen....a blank slate for my thoughts. Sometimes my mind drifts off to far away places only to return here, to the blank screen. To the blog. Where everything is both real and unreal yet more distant than the far away lands that pass through my daydreams.
Over the last month I have observed, taken note and pondered the mysteries of life. Each tentative answer gave rise to a deeper mystery. Is it futile to even pursue this? To think about it? To discuss it?
I don't know but it makes for good blogging and speaking of which, I've given thought to the direction of this blog and it's future.
Things can't go on forever and that includes this tiny little corner of cyber space. Soon, I'm afraid, the Ricardo will have to retire from blogging. How and when, I don't know. But before any of that stuff goes down, I still have a few things to say.
So how about it? Are you ready to U N L O A D with me? If you are or not, this train has just started to move again. Destination...unkown. That's what's going to make the journey fun and maybe a bit bumpy. But in the end, I'm glad to have you all on board. You guys are great and I've missed you.
Let's get rollin'.

16 PEOPLE HAVE UNLOADED:
Thanks for telling me (on my blog) that you are back! Sometimes I think that I should close my blog because it does take time and then I remember why I began it and that it keeps me writing and writing in different ways and looking for things to write.
It is not so much that life is a mystery, it is that we are a mystery to ourselves. That is what I have been pondering. Life keeps us busy and we can use life and being busy to keep us from going on a journey to self-discovery.
For example, what would really make me happy? What is my purpose? Do I really know what I want or is it fear that is masking or subsuming my desires? I can think myself in circles, that's for sure.
Sometimes I wonder if I really don't care about money or is it that I fear doing whatever it takes to make lots of money.
So. What mysteries have YOU pondered? I don't think they are futile to pursue but it's not what I think when it comes to you - it's what you think is important!
It's good to take a break. Very healthy. I'm still wondering if you're going to move...you pondered moving at one point...
dood...thanks for the warning. I hate when bloggers just disappear like a fart in the wind....but this blog will be missed.
(at least i have your email so I can still stalk you personally!)
xxoo
Je manquerai votre blog.
Oooo, I missed you SO bad. Glad to have you back!
I'm rollin...
Glad to see you're back for another season.
Do what you do...
MsQ - Glad you came by. We are indeed a mystery to ourselves. That is likely what I was caught up in during this sabbatical. I have thought myself into circles and into the ground.
Honestly, I have pondered a move but it will be some place far from here.
The mysteries I've pondered will be revealed in short time on this blog for your reading pleasure.....
But not tonight.
Meleah - No worries, this is not a good bye just a warning that the blog has to end sooner or later. I don't know for how long but I have plenty of topics to discuss so I'll be around.
Saadia - Don't miss me yet. We're just getting started.
Mr.Lady - I'm thrilled to see you back and I hope all is well with you. Spread the word!! I have returned! Wooo!!!
Urban - Buckle up baby, it's going to get interesting.
Bring It On!!! The Marsha Is ready!

On board! I do love train travel! :-) :-) :-)
Good to have you back.
Welcome back Ricardo. Its great to get away once in a while but if you decide to stop blogging.... I'm flying up to CT to slap you around a bit on behalf of your fans until you change your mind. (*using my best Brando voice)We'll make you an offer you cant refuse. LoL
Welcome Back!
I don't think it's futile to ponder the mysteries of life, I think it's rather important. Just remember to keep balance in your pursuit, because I have found that it can become overwhelming & very time consuming.
Happy Spring!
Marsha - Good to know you are ready and I'm thrilled to have you back.
nursemyra - Yes actually, I have considered it. I studied with a troop of acotrs from your part of the world in New York and they were all great people. It seems like a wonderful place to head off too.
Jill - It's a tain and potential rollercoaster. Good to see you here.
SJ - How are you my friend. Score any King fisher Calender babes?
Clay - You may have to Clay. You may have to. I just don't know how much longer I can do this but maybe I'll get a second wind.
Leah - A happy spring to you as well! The balance part is a the hardest thing of all. It can suck up time and energy for sure. Must keep moving forward.
I know how you feel, I've been absent for too long myself but I'm trying to get back to the swing of blogging things. Maybe with the extended daylight hours we'll prefer to blog rather than cybernate? (that's a computer hibernation - I just made that up)
Let's go outside and play and then we'll all have good stories to tell.
Sweet! Looking forward to the ride, Ricardo.
Also, thanks for the awesome commenting on my blog as of late ~ much appreciated.
Maritza, come outside and play with the Ricardo!!!
Huckdoll - Not a problem at all. You run a fine blog there and the new design looks great BTW.
