Summer Lust
With summer here and the temperature rising the mind seems to slide into a much different gear than the norm. Wants and needs become a bit more passionate and aggression becomes a bit more prominent resulting in either getting what you want or an unnecessary fight. While summer should be a time of relaxation and peaceful cohabitation the human drive seems to be amplified especially in terms of sex. Some of my best "stories" have happened during the summer and the energy between myself and the female counterpart in question has always been hotter then the most intense heat wave imaginable.
Words are substituted with glances and smiles. Assertiveness becomes a long deep gaze into the eyes. Acceptance is no longer a "yes" but simply grabbing and taking what you want and
devouring. Inhibition is lost within moments as opposed to hours, days or weeks. It's primal, it's real, the hunt is on. What is it about the summer that causes this? Your guess is as good as mine, dear readers, for your fellow blogger has been hunted, preyed upon and loved every moment of it. Perhaps you have as well and loved it just as much as I have. Here's hoping that it happens again before the summer is over.
But summer lust need not involve things that are just canal as much as I love all things pertaining to the subject. Below is a list of other ""triggers" (along with some carnal) that seem to set me into a hunger in the summer time.
Summer Lust Triggers
A quality light coloured beer (not calories) served ice cold. But even a Carona with lime will suffice.
Authentic Italian ice usually made in a small shop in a predominantly Italian neighborhood. Not the lousy store bought kind.
Maria Sharapova. (pictured just below in a very summery white on the tennis court) 'Nuff said.
Any Cold Stone Creamery I pass. I have to run in and order something.
Any attractive woman comfortable showing her long legs in the right summer outfit. Be it the right shorts or a skirt, I will spot them from a mile away and lust for them.
Laying about in the warmth and sun and simply doing nothing.
The right woman in a bikini.
A bikini car wash. Let's face it gentleman, when else will every possible view out of your car be as majestic?
Jumping into a pool.
A nice cool shower, but not too cold.
Snacking on grapes and strawberries or feeding them to the right someone.
Sweating, heaving, breasts. A bit much but I'm a man and hold no regrets over this statement.
Dancing all night with a lovely lady! Working up a sweat while the drink and song flow freely as well as our hands over our bodies. The slight taste of sweat as I kiss her neck and the friction of our bodies coming together. This, my friends, is what I call living.
Sitting back and watching the sunset alone or with the right woman next to me. Preferably with the latter.
Next up on U N L O A D E D.......
Examining the mind and body of the summer huntress.

37 PEOPLE HAVE UNLOADED:
Oh summertime is wicked that way. It brings out the flirt in all of us.
I love summertime. (great post!)
Well, the blood definitely runs hotter and faster during the summer! It's the summer nights that can make me simmer - a balmy summer night when the air caresses the skin and the breezes feel like kisses.
Everyone is feeling just a little bit flushed and it doesn't take much to think about much more pleasurable ways to feel flushed.
Spring fever turns into Summer pleasure for sure. In the Winter I'm usually limited to hunting at the Barnes & Noble or Books a Million because I cant stand meeting women in bars or clubs. With summer here it definitely gives me the beach/boat option. Good post Ricardo!
The lack of clothing. Something about the flesh glistening in the sun. Not to mention the late night BBQ's by the pool, on one of those warm nights. All you can do is wish you can dry her off as she continues to make splashes in the water.
What were we talking about again?
I was going to go with Urban Thought's answer of so little clothing involved. :-)
My preschool parents (& kids) are used to seeing me professionally dressed all school year long, it was a little weird at first to see them at the public pool while wearing a bikini. :-0
Sounds like you're having a great summer so far!
Well, I'm damned. I thought this only happened in the spring.
My husband does look better in the summer--all that hard work outdoors. I don't know if he sees me as the same.
Yarrr.. >:)~
I certainly do hope the lucky lady who hunted and devoured you once this summer gets to do it again. Yes, indeed.
.. And I didn't know you liked light beers. I am a dark beer girl. I don't understand you light beer drinkers.. Tastes like pee..
Ah, the dancing ... that is what got me in the sack the last time.
You are mean...my husband is in Tennessee for three weeks and now you bring up "Summer Lust"..you couldn't have brought up this subject before he left town...I'm all alone in this big house...it's so not fair...now I need a hug and no ones around to give me one.
Meleah - I love the summertime too. Nothing else like it.
MsQ - You describe it so wonderfully, that is indeed the feeling. And the summer holds many pleasures.
Clay - The beach boat option is PERFECT! I work right next to a marina and when I look out the window I see huge potential. Glad you will be able to capitalize on it.
Urban - Your train of thought is also my train of thought whenever I've been going out lately. Thoughts are disrupted by images of lovely female flesh. Ahhh....
Jill - Turning heads pool side in your little number are you? Yes I guess the student/parent/teacher thing was thrown out of whack with that one. But it's summer damn it!
Enemy - Spring is for tourists! Summer is where it's at. And some people do look more attractive given the season.
Irisi- ..................
Monique - You know what to do to get back in the sack again my dear. Go for it!
Marsha - Yes suppose I can be a bit mean ;-) The write up you did on the Vegas show girls sent me over the top! 3 weeks is a long time but it will give you the chance enjoy his company all the more upon his return. Yeah, that's the way to look at it. I think.
Don't worry Ric. I've felt it too. I want to bag a new girlfriend now, as this is the optimum period.
What is this ..........?
You did this on my blog too! You must be trying to drive me crazy.
I'm just going to start ................ ing back at you...
..........
.....
..
Leon - I know the feeling my friend. Can't ever get enough sometimes.
Irisi - I'm sure it's just a case reading too deeply into things........................
I just wrote a similair post on another blog I have...
I think summer brings out the need for skin, and a bit of erotica.
Agreed. But winter brings up a need to stay warm too :)
If you're lucky... You bag the girl during summer. Find out if she is a keeper. Spend the winter warming up with her. Cause sometimes its too cold to look for another. And then when spring rolls around. Kick her to the curb.
Unless she's a keeper and you feel like wifing her up.
bardouble29 - Skin and erotica are a few of my favourite things! I'll be sure to check what you wrote on the topic.
SJ - There is value in winter, yes but not as much eye candy.
Urban you have laid out an honest and sound strategy. And let's not forget, the wrong attitude in a woman can bring quite a chill that you don't need on top of the winter months. I equate it to the wind chill factor and that's just not my thing. So with spring comes new opportunity indeed and a kick to the curb. A firm one if she's too unruly.
Hubba hubba!
Have to agree with Irisi on lite beer--I do enjoy an ale at times.
Maritza - Indeed!
Enemy - light in color not the low cal kind. A pale ale.
Sigh. I don't know about the rest of you but so few are "keepers!"
You greet, you meet, you ummmmm..slip between the sheets and it's all good EXCEPT that very important extra bit that makes you think...maybe.
Personally, play is all well and good and sometimes very, very good, but STAY is infinitely better, at least for me.
Irisi: If you don't know what .................. is, sorry.
;-)
Really?
I've always found it so hot and sticky.
I've always gotten my best lovin' in the spring and fall. Winter's excuse to cuddle close is always good, also.
I just have to patently disagree here.
Ahhhh Ms.Q - You are always of woman of deep wisdom and insight. You have an ability to read men that can only come with age and experience. But if anyone calls you old or older, I'll rip their lungs out ;-)
And yes, sometimes the desire to stay is much better....even if it's just for a little while.
Thomas - Given the brutal nature of summer in Atlanta (based on things I've heard) I must actually agree with you under the newly implimented "Thomas clause". Spring and fall in that part of the country is much, much better. But getting some anytime of the year is better than nothing, right?
ricardo: "But if anyone calls you old or older, I'll rip their lungs out"
That is the nicest bit of chivalry I've heard in a long time.
Thomas: I've been in Atlanta in the summer. Yeah...it's hot and sticky all right. I can definitely see Spring Fever there. I actually spent most of last year in a town not far from Atlanta. An amazing number of Chinese Buffets, heck, buffets in general.
Spring was very nice there, the scent of honeysuckle at night, the dogwoods, the fireflies, plate-sized magnolias luminous in the moonlight.
Summer was so sticky my after-dinner walks felt more like wading.
"'But if anyone calls you old or older, I'll rip their lungs out'
That is the nicest bit of chivalry I've heard in a long time."
That *was* awfully sweet, wasn't it?!?!?
I love seasons...winter, summer, whatever... :-) Although to be fair, in summer you get to spend more time in a bathing suit...
MsQ - Always at your service. And there are lots of buffets of all kinds in Atlanta? Hmmm.....
The mind once again shifts to thoughts of summer lust.
Jill- I speak only the truth to our beloved MsQ. She deserves nothing less.
And yes there is something great about every season. But none can match the raw, savage energy of the summer.
"lots of buffets of all kinds in Atlanta? Hmmm....."
Atlanta is known as "HOT-lanta" and I'm sure it's not just reserved for the temperature.
Ricardo: Your words remind me of Irisi's "Feasting the Senses" post!
A woman's body IS a feasting of the senses for me.
Fanning my face with my hand in true Southern Belle manner and in my best Southern accent:
Oh. You don't say...
Now in my best Ms. Q manner (and I think I speak for most women):
Mmmmreeowwww...
Yes Ms.Q!! Purr, hiss, claw! Gently and sensually brush against another body of your choosing.
must admit i didnt read this post or any of the comments but its my favourite post of anyones in a long time.. cant quite put my finger on why..
Could it be the pictures Lirun? I had lots of fun selecting them.
No other comment than "WOW"...
I knew men get especially hot in summertime...
Hot!
Hot!!
Hot!!!
Nelioness - Yep, you know the fire I'm speaking about. Based on your 2nd comment, it may be why women become the huntress!
